Brave Beyond Boarders
Biblical Counseling & Care for
Missionaries Around the World
Those who spend their lives pouring into others need a place where they can be poured into, too.
Brave Beyond Borders exists to provide compassionate, Christ-centered Biblical counseling,
encouragement, and care to missionaries serving around the world. Whether a missionary is
currently serving overseas, preparing to leave the field, returning home, or navigating a difficult
season of ministry, our desire is to provide a safe place to be heard, strengthened, encouraged,
and reminded that they do not have to carry the weight of ministry alone.
50%
of missionaries report that their mental health negatively impacts them and their ability to serve.
48%
of missionaries report struggling with anxiety.
80-90%
of missionaries report burn-out.
The Goal is simple:
Go to the people who spend their lives going to others
Missionary life can be incredibly meaningful—and incredibly demanding. Missionaries may navigate isolation, cultural adjustment, relationship strain, ministry burnout, grief, spiritual discouragement, difficult transitions, trauma, re-entry challenges, and the unique pressure of caring for others while struggling themselves.
Sometimes the people caring for everyone else need someone to care for them.
Through Brave Beyond Borders, missionaries can receive online Biblical counseling from anywhere in the world, as well as
in-person support while in the United States and in many countries.
Brave Beyond Borders is not intended to exist only through virtual appointments.
Jess and Ira Hall have a personal commitment to supporting missionaries spiritually, relationally, practically, and financially. As this ministry grows, they will travel internationally to spend time alongside missionaries where they live and serve.
The goal is simple: go to the people who spend their lives going to others.
These trips may include on-the-ground Biblical counseling, prayer, encouragement, missionary-care visits, support for missionary families, ministry within local communities, and simply being present with those serving on the front lines.

You Were
Never Meant
To Carry The Mission Alone
Missionaries spend countless hours learning languages, crossing cultures, building relationships, serving communities, sharing the Gospel, discipling believers, caring for families, and responding to needs that most people back home will never see.
We want to care for the people behind the mission.
Our hope is that Brave Beyond Borders becomes a trusted source of Biblical encouragement and support for missionaries wherever God has called them—from a laptop across an ocean to sitting together face-to-face on the other side of the world.
Whether you are a missionary looking for support, a missions organization seeking care for your missionaries, or someone interested in helping us bring counseling and encouragement directly to missionaries around the world, we'd love to connect with you.
You go where God sends you. We want to help care for you along the way.
