ABOUT

Jessica "Jess" Hall, Owner
LMHC, LPC, CADC
Jess completed her Bachelors in Biblical Counseling at Luther Rice University and her Masters in Licensed Professional Counseling at Liberty University. She has over 9 years of counseling experience working with co-occurring disorders and has a soft spot for those struggling with substance use. She has worked with a broad spectrum of issues from anxiety and depression to significant personalty disorders.
Jess is a competitive, outgoing, generous, and compassionate person. In her spare time, she enjoys doing outdoorsy activities, traveling, smoking the competition in a game of tennis or basketball, watching friends re-runs, playing with fluffy animals, getting “walked” by her dog, and cooking food with a very generous amount of seasoning. Most of all, Jess enjoys getting to know people on a deeper level, making others laugh, and spending time with her loved ones.
She is most passionate about walking along side those who have experienced trauma. Jess has found great success in addressing root causes to help individuals overcome and live the life they’ve always desired, but never thought possible.
Jess is a trauma focused counselor. It amazes her how our bodies and brains are capable of surviving horrific things. She consider it an absolute honor to walk along side of survivors of varying traumas on their path to healing. Because of this, I am well versed in ways people have had to cope with such difficult circumstances.
Her approach is very person-centered. She prefers a warmer, meeting you where you are type of approach that is very personalized to what the individual wants to work through and accomplish/overcome. With Jesus, there is NOTHING that can't be overcome! She is living proof!
Jess actively works to create a warm, inviting, and safe space where a person feels comfortable opening up without fears of being rejected or judged. Her personal goal is to be as Holy Spirit lead as possible, creating the most effective space for the individual or couple to have the most successful outcome.

Ira Hall, Owner
Biblical Counselor, Intercessor
Ira completed his Batchelor’s of Arts in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Computer Information Systems from Grandview College and has over 20 years of experience in the IT field helping others, problem solving and performing root cause analyses. He has a passion for simplifying complex topics into easier to understand ones through analogy and metaphor. He also is passionate for scripture, prayer and digging into the deep things of God having been in the Christian faith for over 30 years.
Ira enjoys deep conversation on all topics, especially spiritual ones. He has an ear for listening and giving space for people to share what’s weighing on them. Being diagnosed with Sarcoidosis and surviving heart failure that could have ended his life, Ira has insight into areas of chronic health and hopelessness. He has experience weathering the storms of life as those close to him have struggled with anxiety, war, substance abuse, job loss, cancer and grief. Through it all he has learned to lean on God when things seem impossible and intercede for those that have lost hope.
Intersession holds a special place in his heart. To stand in the gap for those who can’t. The idea stems from Ezekiel 22:30
“I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.”
Over the years Ira has felt a calling to stand in the gap for others, to pray, intercede and advocate for them before God. He knows that therapy and counseling are powerful tools, but when things appear too broken, too shattered, too much, that inviting God into the mix can and has made all the difference. Its no wonder that Jesus is known as the great physician! But things do not need to get to the impossible before God is invited in. He cares for the big and the small things in life and He has a plan even when things look impossible because He is not limited by our limitations. There is nothing better for Ira then to see God working in a person’s life to bring breakthrough, healing, and those lightbulb moments of relief and knowing there is hope.
In his spare time Ira enjoys cloudy days, walking the bike trails, drawing, cooking, spending time traveling with his amazing and hilarious wife Jess and being a host dad to two incredible daughters through foreign exchange. He has also been a proud cat/dog dad over the years and seems to make a great lap for them to take naps on.
